This was the END!

The Made in Poland festival had its proper beginning with the END this year.

The celebration of European Neighbours’ Day took place on Tuesday 26th of May at The Side Cinema. We showed the film Saviour Square by Krzysztof and Joanna Krauze that was warmly welcomed by the audience and raised a lot of questions for Polish attendees.

The general feeling was that it was a good movie that made people think. Despite the chairs being too hard, people liked the ambience of the venue and its location. They were saying that the wine and the friendly “social” afterwards was great. One of the attenders said: It is a really good event for people to discuss issues about life, because the film raised them. They claimed that: The film had a huge impact.

The audience consisted of Poles and Brits, but we had guests who come from Japan, Ireland and Malaysia as well.

Hope to see you all next time!
