Polish music in The Sage Gateshead

Made in Poland on behalf of The Sage Gateshead would like to invite you to an exclusive night of ‘new’ Polish music – Good S*** from Poland, featuring Sing Sing Penelope, Contemporary Noise Sextet and Jacaszek.

Prepare to be wowed by some Polish musical and cinematic delights. The jazz ensemble Sing Sing Penelope are sure to impress with their modern electro-acoustic style. Polish underground supergroup, Contemporary Noise Sextet, convincingly blends energetic jazz with cinematic themes, whilst the inventive Jacaszek brings together the manipulation of recorded sound with live acoustic instruments. If that’s not enough to get you excited about all things Polish, we’ve also got three short films on offer.

The concert is part of Fertilizer on Tour. Fertilizer, produced by the hub and sound UK, is one of the UK’s leading ‘boutique’ festivals. It brings you the freshest stuff from the freshest scenes around the world.
