Photo exhibition at the Gospoda Restaurant

Thursday, 18th June, 7pm

Launch of the PL Photo Project exhibition featuring photos taken by Alex Colling, a local photographer and portraying Poles living in the North East.

Alex Colling is an amateur photograher who started to be interested in Poland and Polish culture after visiting this Central European country last year.

- I’m very into human geography, concept of place and identity of migrants. The PL Photo Project developed from my personal interests and passion for photography.

The photos will be exhibited along with stories and comments reflecting models’ lives in the North East. Alex says: – I wanted to know a bit more about people who are in photos and their lives. That is why I discussed the ideas with them and met them few times before the photo session. They provided me with lots of information about how they find themselves here. It’s great to think how diverse people can be.

Meet Alex in person!
(he promised to speak Polish)
